Hi everyone. Long time no see. I will be posting an update soon, but I wanted to post this as it is something very important to me.  Five years ago I lost my mother to ovarian cancer.  Next week, my uncle is attempting to raise funds and awareness for Ovarian Cancer research by attempting a world record endeavor of 50 consecutive hours of massage over 3 days, from November 20-22, 2009.

His goal is to raise $100,000 for my mother’s (his sister’s) fund. $30,000 has been raised so far, and the 2009 campaign alone has raised over $3,000 towards his ultimate goal.

To support Costa and his goal, please visit “The Touch Project” at Kilalo and follow the link to sponsor a 15-minute slot that to achieve the world record over a 3-day period. Sponsor a “virtual reservation” of any one of the time slots and your confirmation email will give you a link directly to the Alana John-Beuthin Wall of Hope on the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) web site. The suggested minimum donation is $25.

100% of your donation goes directly to OCRF.

Please do not give – or send money – to Kilalo. If you would like to receive a massage during this event, please contact (510) 338-0791, info@kilalo.com, or at their studio on 2067 Mountain Blvd, Oakland, CA 94611.

Another way in which you can help reach the $100,000 goal is to purchase Costa’s novel, The Touch of  Lighter Hand.  You can purchase the book from Amazon by clicking here.

I appreciate everyone who takes a moment to donate money towards this worthy cause.  If you do, please leave a comment below.
